This class focuses on the phenomenon of shorebird migration, worldwide. We'll also discuss shorebird reproductive strategies, since the two behaviors are strongly linked.
Students should have received information on how to enter the Oakland Museum for classes. Contact GGA if you do not have this information.
"The Shorebird Guide" by Michael O'Brien et al is an excellent reference for this class. Scopes are helpful on field trips.
